Features:
Save valuable time, energy and space with the Panasonic AG-DV2500 studio player/recorder. The machine plays and records in the ubiquitous DV format, both large cassette and small. It will play back professional DVCAM recorded tapes. It can be remotely controlled with RS-422 controllers. And it can take up a small footprint on your desk when standing on its side with the included tower stand. - Up to 4 1/2 Hours Recording Time
The AG-DV2500 is a no-nonsense DV edit deck, perfect for almost any modern digital edit studio. The machine will accept any size DV cassette including Panasonic's AY-DV276MQ Master tape with over 4 1/2 hours of recording time. - DVCAM Playback
Panasonic asserts that the AG-DV2500 will playback professional DVCAM recorded tapes. Now you won't have to buy or rent expensive equipment to integrate DVCAM source material to your project for editing. - PAL / NTSC Playback Capability
Both NTSC and PAL signals can be played back. This makes it easy to work with international material and transfer to a non-linear editing system for editing. - Synchro Lock Function
The AG-DV2500 can be linked to the recording start/stop operation of the Panasonic AG-DVX100 camcorder for back-up or dub recording. The deck can automatically start recording 5 minutes before the end of the camera's tape for extended recording times. The deck may also be used as the sole recorder in liu of the camera's recorder.
